Studenckie Koło Naukowe Mediewistów wespół ze Studenckim Kołem Naukowym Archeologów Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego, ma zaszczyt powiadomić, że w dniach 21-23 XI 2008 r. we Wrocławiu odbędzie się Międzynarodowa Interdyscyplinarna Konferencja Studencka pt. „Rządzący i rządzeni. Kultura elitarna a kultura masowa.”

Głównym celem sesji jest uchwycenie przemian w kształtowaniu się statusu człowieka w średniowieczu na tle społecznych gwarancji bytu, relacji miedzy władzą a społeczeństwem, a także omówienie wyników badań nad pozostałościami kultury materialnej, które możemy łączyć z przedstawicielami różnych stanów.

Uczestnictwo w konferencji jest otwarte. Do zabrania głosu w postaci krótkich wystąpień, które skupiają się na wyżej zarysowanej tematyce i mieszczą w ramach chronologicznych średniowiecza, zapraszamy studentów (studiów magisterskich i doktoranckich) oraz absolwentów, samodzielnych pracowników naukowych. Mamy nadzieję, że organizowana konferencja będzie sprzyjała syntezie wiedzy, wymianie poglądów, jak i ogólnej integracji środowiska naukowego.
